In this Dropified review, we will be taking a look at its effectiveness, its features, and how it can benefit you if you are planning to do dropshipping.
You cannot do dropshipping without a dropshipping tool. Today, the most common choice is Oberlo because it is free, and so is Sprocket. But is Dropified a great option?
This review will also help you decide if you want to shift from one dropshipping tool to Dropified.
What is dropshipping?
Dropshipping is a simple business model where you sell someone else’s products. In dropshipping, you do not have to buy the products and keep an inventory. Instead, you set up a website, create a payment channel, and take orders.
Once these orders are paid, you use that money paid to you to buy the item from the supplier. You pay for the product and shipping costs. Once this is done, the supplier sends the item to your customer.
So, how do you make a profit?
The difference between your expenses and what the customer paid for is your profit.
In a nutshell, here is how dropshipping goes:
- Are you looking for a supplier
- You post the supplier’s goods on your website
- Customer orders and pays you on your website
- You use that payment to order the item from the supplier
- The supplier ships the item to your customer
Dropshipping is the most affordable business you can start today. But without the right tools, you will fail. And this is where Dropified comes in.
Dropified Review: What is Dropified?
Dropified is a dropshipping tool and directory where you can find suppliers. This is a critical step in a dropshipping business—it is the supplier who ships your item, and it is the supplier who has full control over the quality of the items you sell.
As a dropshipping tool, Dropified is an app, or software, that you integrate with your online store. It works in the backend.
Dropified, once integrated with your e-commerce store, allows you access to a dashboard where you can do the following:
- Look for suppliers and products
- Launch the products to your store through the app
- Control the pricing and make them automatically change if the supplier also changes the prices
- Order the products and pay the supplier
After all these are done, the supplier will get notified via his own Dropified dashboard, and then he will not package the item and ship it to your customer.
Dropified Review: How Does Dropified Work?
The way it works is simple is pretty simple. Below is a step-by-step process to get started with Dropified.
- Create a Dropified account
- Install or integrate the app to your store
- Browse the dashboard for products,
- Import the products you like to your store
- Order the product from Dropified
- The supplier ships the item to the customer
See? It is easy.
Later on, we will talk about how you can install the Dropified app to your store, and which platforms it can integrate to. We will also cover the pricing and study if it makes sense to use this as your dropshipping directory.
Dropified is a tool that can save you at least 20 hours a week of work. It has full automation features that allow you to set a motion of activities without you having to interfere.
You do not need to learn how to code to integrate it with your store. Installing the app, or integrating it with your website is seamless. All it takes is just a few clicks, and you are ready to go.
The Dropified team designed the entire process to help you manage a business as efficiently as possible, and we will take a look at the features of the Dropified dropship tool later on.
Dropified Review: A Review of Dropified Features
What is it with Dropified that makes it unique? Let us explore the features of the tool to help you better understand how it can help you make money online with dropshipping.
1. Price Change Auto-Updates
With Dropified, you will not lose money because you can automate the price changes in the system. Let us say that today, you found a product from a supplier that costs $20, with a shipping cost of $10. The total cost of that product is $30, so you want to sell it for, let us say, $50.
What if the seller’s price changed after a week to $40? At that rate, the total cost now is $50 (including the $10 shipping fee. If you do not change the price in your store, you will lose money.
With Dropified, the price change on your store is automated, and it would happen immediately after the supplier changes his price. The amount it changes depends on how you program the tool.
If you programmed the product to add $30, then it will add $30 as a profit automatically, even if the supplier changes his price.
To do this, just go to the Stores tab and then click Settings. Here, you can set up a price change by percentage or by fixed price.
If you choose a percentage, like 100%, the Dropified system will automatically update your selling price by 100% every time the seller or supplier changes his selling price.
Here is an example:
- Old supplier price – $20
- Your old price – $40
If the seller changes the price to $30, your new selling price will automatically change to $60 because 100% of $30 is $30. $30 plus $30 = $60.
If you choose a fixed price, like $20, then the system will add $20 every time the supplier changes his price.
You can also set up alerts and tell the system what to do if a product price happens from the supplier’s end. You can program the system to notify you, do nothing, update the price at the same rate that you chose, or update the price only if the original price of the seller went up.
2. 1-Click Product Importing
As a dropshipper, you are not selling your products. Instead of you taking a screenshot of each photo, and then copying the product descriptions, Dropified offers a 1-click importing feature.
What does this mean? Once you have found a product that you want to sell, all it takes is to click on a button that says Import and it shall become available for sale in your store.
If you want, you can also do match import where you just tick boxes of different products and import them all at once.
To be able to do this, you have to install the Dropified extension On Google Chrome. On AliExpress, just click the extension, and then a new window will appear. On this window, change the product description if you want, or simply click Send to Shopify to import it right away.
If you want, you can also click Save it for Later and then make changes on your Dropified dashboard for each product. You can change the descriptions, add or remove photos, and then also change the prices.
3. Product Customization
Surely, you want to market your products differently, and you can do this by changing the product descriptions. As a dropshipper, you must not rely on how suppliers write their product descriptions because they are written for you, the marketer, and not the end-user or customer.
To succeed in dropshipping, you have to write product descriptions that sell.
With Dropified, you can create templates to make it easier for you to write product descriptions. To do this, just click on Store and scroll down to Custom Product Descriptions. Then, click Add Template.
As you can see from the screenshot below, you can create custom tags. These tags are the ones inside the parentheses, and they will copy text based on their respective tags. This works best if you have product descriptions that are the same, lime for products whose only differences are size and color.
After importing the product from the supplier, you can now choose the template you want to apply, and the tool will copy the product description, but change the content on the tags.
4. Automated Order Fulfillment Process
In other dropshipping tools, you have to go to the dashboard and manually fulfill the order. What this means is that you have to copy and paste the customer details, choose the quantity, put your credit card number to pay, and do all other things to complete an order.
It does not work like this with Dropified.
All you have to do is click on the Place Order button. As you can see on the screenshot below, there is a phrase with a red dot that says Not Ordered. What this means is that you have not ordered it yet. It does not mean that your customer has not paid.
After clicking the Place Order button, you can choose to order and choose the shipping manually or select Auto-Choose Shipping. Then, you will see another window as shown below.
Once this is done, you will see that the customer’s shipping address is automatically put in the shipping field areas, and you just have to complete the payment to your supplier. Once complete, the supplier will be notified, and then he will ship the item.
5. Create Flash Sale and Discounts
You want to give your customers the best experience and for money. To be able to compete with other people selling similar products to yours, you must give discounts and create flash sales from time to time.
The problem with a lot of dropship tools is that you have to do this manually for each product. And then you have to change the product prices manually, too.
With Dropified, you can do all these with a few simple clicks. Here are the steps to do it.
STEP 1: Add a product to your Shopify store. In this example, we will use AliExpress as the supplier. Once you have selected the product, click on the Dropified Google Chrome Extension, change the details if you want, and then import it to your Shopify store by clicking on Send it to Shopify. This is the retail version of the product.
STEP 2: the next step is to create a sale version of the product. To do this, you must send it to your Shopify store one more time. Click in the Dropified Google Chrome Extension, and then simply change the product name and add the words Flash Sale! or Discounted!
Then, click on Send to Shopify button again.
STEP 3: The next step is to view the product on sale in your Shopify store. To do this, click on View in Shopify. Once there, click on the Dropified Google Chrome Extension, then click on Find in Shopified App.
See screenshot below:
This will take you to the product inside the Shopified App. Once you are there, you can see that there are two Teddy Bear products. One is the retail and one is with a special offer.
Since you have two products there, all you have to do is disable the retail one so it does not show up in your store. Once the sale is over, you can activate the retail version, and then de-activate the special offer version.
6. Bulk Product Editing
It is a waste of time to update the product prices or add tags to them. Dropified has solved this problem with the bulk editing tool. Here are the steps on how to use it.
STEP 1: Create boards. You can create this while you are selecting products on AliExpress. As shown in the screenshot below, just click on the Dropified Google Chrome Extension, then choose Save for Later.
Once this is done, you can keep adding products. After choosing the products you want to sell, you can now go to your Shopify dashboard, and you will find all these products in the NOT CONNECTED TAB in your Shopified App.
STEP 2: Now, you can create boards, which are pretty much nothing more than categories. It makes it easy for you to find products later on. For example, you can create a board and name it necklaces, and then add all necklace products in there.
There are several ways to create a board, but the easiest one is to just click on Board. If you do this, you can select from existing boards from your Shopified app, or create a new one.
You can also select multiple products by clicking their respective boxes as shown below.
Then, you can go to the Selected Items menu, and then click Add to Board. After clicking this, just choose the board where you want to add them or create a new one.
STEP 3: Now, you can click on the options on the left panel and choose Boards as shown below.
Now, you can see all the boards that you have created. On this panel, you can see how many products are on each board. You can edit, empty out, or delete a board if you want.
If you select a board, you can see all the products there, and you can edit all of them, at once, send them all to your Shopify store, or remove some of them from the board.
7. Product Photo Editor
Dropified comes with a built-in product photo editor. What this means is that you do not have to spend money on a photo editor like Adobe Photoshop, much less spend time learning how to use it.
With the Dropified photo editor, you can download or delete photos, re-arrange your order, and even remove unwanted backgrounds!
To add more photos, just go to the Dropified app and choose your saved product. Next, click on More Images, and then select the ones you want to add. These images are scraped from the photos of your supplier. Beside that button is Upload Image. Use this if you want to add photos of your own.
If you want to edit the image, you can hover your mouse on a particular image, and then click the check mark. This will open a new window where you will have a variety of tools to edit your product photo.
From here, you can crop the photo, resize it, and even add stickers and text to it.
Dropified Pricing
Dropified is free to use in the first 14 days. After that, you have to pay a monthly subscription fee, which I will explain below.
1. Builder Plan – $47 per month | $39 per month if paid annually
The Builder plan is the lowest plan that allows you to use Dropified services for one store. With this plan, you can access thousands of products, and cancel anytime you want. You will only be charged once per month, depending on your billing cycle.

Summary: Dropified Review
Dropified is one of the best dropship supplier tools out in the market. I can say that this can directly compete with top contenders like Spocket and SaleHoo. It can integrate with Shopify, WooCommerce, CommerceHQ, and GrooveKart.
At the base price of $47 per month, you would have everything you need to run a store. It is also easy to recoup the cost because you only have to sell five products in a month to pay for them. If you do the marketing right, your store will be paying for the cost of the tool.
