Payout Qualification
1. You must be a registered member of Inkspired.
2. You must have published an article in the last three months. Inactive writers will not receive a payout (applies only to Pay Per Performance).
3. You must be able to accept PayPal payments.
Payment Structure
- FREE MEMBER: no payment
- BASIC MEMBER: $25 per 1,000 views per article per month
- PRO MEMBER: $100 per 1,000 views per article per month
Payment Period
Payouts are calculated every month. Specifically, the reporting fiscal period is the calendar month. The payout period for the previous month is every 15th of the succeeding month.
Here is an example:
- Your article was published on August 11, 2023
- On September 15, 2023, you will be paid for the page views between August 1 to August 31, 2023 (per article).
Payment Calculation
We do not use raw page views as the only basis for calculating pay. The calculating algorithm takes into account factors like:
Robot traffic
Session duration
Number of users
Why is this important?
We must pay based on real performance that adds value to our readers. It does not make sense for us to pay writers whose page views come from robots and not human beings.
To protect the integrity of our reporting, we cannot share the exact methods we use to calculate and validate page views. Furthermore, we calculate page views on a monthly basis. Page views do not get carried over to the next month.
Payment Process
We only pay via PayPal. Inkspired will not take liability in covering your receiving fees, or any other fee that PayPal charges you if you receive money.
Initially, we will send you a small amount of money to validate if your PayPal account works. You need to confirm through email that you have received this small amount, after which we will send the rest.
Please note that Inkspired reserves the right to change the payment structure without prior notice. You also agree that we reserve the right to reduce, change, or eliminate the payout structure without your consent.
We make business decisions based on the company’s financial performance. As such, Inkspired’s financial health is the key to determining changes in the payment structure.
We also reserve the right to convert an article into a paywalled one, if we deem it necessary to increase our readership.
